Club Season

The Bedok Kings RFC is the most successful Rugby team in Singapore. Over twelve seasons we have enjoyed rich rewards both on and off the field. The 2008 / 2009 season marks the twelth year the rugby team has particpated in Singapore rugby.

The Bedok Kings are committed to helping identify and develop local talent, currently having 13 players in the Singapore National team squad. The National Squad (under Bedok Coach Danny) competed in the A5N against the tops teams in Asia and showed some true grit and potential.  The National team will continue to develop and will draw it's talent from local clubs such as Bedok.

The 2007 / 2008 season was a very special year. Not only did the club win the 1st and 2nd grade competitions (2nd grade for the first time), it also saw the team win it's first tour, the annual Angkor 10's in Phnom Phen, Cambodia.

In the 2008 / 2009 season, we won the inaugrual Singapore Guinness Cup and Premiership leag ue and reached the Cup Finals in the top two grades. Unfortunatley failing to come away with the Cup.  The COnference team, also had a great year, achieving it's highest ever placing and feeding a number of player into the top two teams.  In May, the Club also launched an annual Onishi-san Cup game before the A5N fixture v Japan.  The match was a great fixture with the Bedok team winning the Cup.

The club is dedicated to improving the standard of rugby in Singapore for the enjoyment of players and spectators alike.
