Welcome to the New Year

Well the end of the year saw some fun and games in the Bedok World. We have had a spate of Weddings and births so congratulations to the Thirgoods and MacBoas and most recently the Clarks! This saw a selection of Touchies and Contact guys jetting off to a fantastic wedding on (and in) the Andaman sea off Phuket. Congratulations to you all and the others I have missed!

We also had a visit from Santa at the Bungy Bar! He arrived direct from an engagement in Switzerland and managed not to traumatise too many kids . . . although perhaps the jetlag breath was a tad ripe! Many thanks to AnneMarie, Nellie, Jo et all for all their great work in setting up a fantastic party! If you child was there, check out Sally's facebook page and contact her through that to get pictures of your kid with Santa www.facebook.com/sallyslackphotography. Just message her and she can get them to you.

On the Rugby side, we suffered a huge number of injuries at the end of last year, which significantly impacted our results on the park.  However, we also saw a number of younger players stepping up to the plate and putting in some great performances.  Hopefully the Christmas break has given the guys some time to recuperate and we will have more players available in January.  If you havent been down to training for a while, get along to St Andrews School on Mon and Thur and make yourself available for selection!  And for those still owing subs, bring your cheque books along!
